DELTARUNE Chapter 3 and 4 (Original Game Sountrack) Review (Spoilers!)

This album is easily one of my favourites from this year. It's been out for about a month and I already have 400+ plays on it. So how does it rate up?
Catchyness: 9/10
Theory: 8.5/10
Replayability: 8/10

Standout Songs (In order of appearance):

MIKE, the BOARD please! -
This is a very classy introduction to Tenna's character. It purveys his pretty silly nature and contributes to the general vibe of the chapter as one of the first songs you hear.

Ruder Buster -
This is probably my one of my favourites in the OST. I don't know how Toby Fox managed to improve on Rude Buster, which was already one of my favourite songs. This song has it all - jazz chords, a funky soundfont, and amazing arpeggios.

Raise Up Your Bat -
Certified banger. The Lost Girl motif goes hard. There are a lot of great vocal covers of this on youTube!

TV WORLD -
Like a combination of CORE and Death By Glamour.

It's TV Time! -
IT'S! TV! TIME!
No notes.

Black Knife -
This song feels dangerous, and the lead instruments with heaps of slide make it sound alien and menacing.

From Now On (Battle 2) -
Toby Fox ups his game on the battle themes again. Conveys a bit more of an urgent and serious vibe than the Rude Busters.

Hammer Of Justice
For a song that isn't too muddy and dense on instruments, this song effectively conjures the heroic feeling of the Gerson fight.

The Third Sanctuary
Though the start may sound like a ringtone, this song quickly asserts itself as one of the more musically complicated songs on the soundtrack, switching time signature almost every bar. It scratches my brain in just the right way. (11+12/8 my beloved).

GUARDIAN
Makes you feel heroic, contrasting the "chorus" with the more dark "verses".

That's all for this review. Thanks for reading!
